Delivery Rates for Landscaping Supplies

Maximum delivery distance is 40 miles from our manufacturing location in Elkridge, Maryland. Additionally, for shipping prices can only be calculated up to 40 miles from our Elkridge location.

  • Zone A: $85/truck within 5 miles
  • Zone B: $145/truck within 6-20 miles
  • Zone C: $255/truck within 21-40 miles
  • Flatbed: MD/VA – $385, DC – $450

Nevertheless, no two locations are the same.

Requirements

Please check before ordering the dimensions of your delivery area and access path as we cannot be held liable for non-delivery related to access or safety implications. If in doubt, measure up and give us a call before ordering.We require someone to be present at your location when the delivery is made in order to sign for the goods and confirm there are no defects or items missing. Should any defects be found afterwards, this must be reported to us within 24 hours of your delivery accompanied by photographic evidence.

Delivery Location

It is imperative that your delivery address will allow loads to be delivered to a flat and solid surface. You will also need to ensure there is appropriate access space for the delivery vehicle itself.Should you request that the delivery vehicle leaves the public highway to make the delivery, it is your responsibility to ensure that the access is suitable for a heavy vehicle.  Neither the company nor the carrier can be held responsible or liable for any damages to property during delivery arising because of unsuitable access.

Terms

Your purchase of Champion Mulch & Stone Supply delivery service waives all liability from Champion Mulch & Stone Supply and the third-party delivery agent, of incidental or consequential property damage that may occur during the delivery including but not limited to: cracking of driveway surfaces, landscape and/or lawn damage, or other property damage.

Precautions

We will take every precaution necessary to minimize damage, but damage can occur. You assume full responsibility for product unloaded in public rights-of-way (including the risk of damage or injury to others). Requests to be dumped in areas other than driveways are left to the discretion of the driver. Standard delivery rates apply to unloading material in one location on driveways or other easily accessible areas.

Delivery Details

Deliveries requested to be unloaded in more than one location, areas other than driveways, or areas with poor access may be subject to additional fees. If it is required or requested to hand deliver the mulch to a certain area, delivery will be subjected to additional fees.
