Yes. It is imperative that your delivery address will allow loads to be delivered to a flat and solid surface. Neither the company nor the carrier can be held responsible or liable for any damages to property during delivery arising because of unsuitable access. Please check before ordering the dimensions of your delivery area and access path as we cannot be held liable for non-delivery related to access or safety implications. If in doubt, measure up and give us a call before ordering

Could you bring two different products on one delivery trip?

We want to make sure that our products arrive in the most pristine condition. If you order more than one product, such as mulch and stone, we would make two different trips because our trucks don’t have a divider, and we can’t mix the products. Therefore, there will be two delivery fees. Nevertheless, depending on your order quantity and the distance from our locations to yours, we can offer you a discount on the second delivery fee.

Would you spread the product or install it for me?

We manufacture, sell, and deliver products. Feel free to ask us for a landscaper recommendation based on your location.

What effect does mulch have on plants?

Mulching has an undeniable aesthetic value but it also aids in your plants growth and health. Additionally, it helps prevent weed growth and aids in retaining moisture. Using a standard fertilizer will offset any nitrogen that may be used up when wood mulch is initially spread.

When should I spread colored mulch?

The mulch you receive may not be completely dry due to stockpiling. To prevent the color from washing off, it is best to spread enhanced color mulch when rain is not eminent. When correctly applied and allowed to dry completely, your new landscape design will stay looking beautiful.

Is there a such thing as “bad mulch”?

Yes! Make sure you purchase your mulch from a reliable source. Mulch can be delivered with harmful weed seeds in it because it was stockpiled next to a field of weeds. This can cause a lot of gardening aggravation that you could be paying for the long run. Additionally, if you use mulch with toxic dye, it can leach into the soil harming or even killing beneficial soil bacteria, insects, earthworms and sometimes the plants themselves.

How much mulch should be used?

Generally, a 2-4” layer of mulch is recommended for the first time. Each year the mulch bed should be raked and topped with about 2 inches of new mulch.

How often do I need to mulch per year?

About 3 inches of mulch is recommended for beds, and we recommend mulching twice a year.

What are the benefits of mulch other than aesthetics?

Mulching with the right amount each time will help fend off weeds and conserve moisture, which will reduce your need to irrigate.

Why is triple-shredded mulch better?

Our triple ground shredded mulch is the finest level of shredded mulch that you will find and is easier to spread along the base of your trees and plants. Our triple shredded mulch is more effective at weed control than the other types of mulch because it locks together, preventing air and sunlight from reaching the weeds. In comparison, single shreds can leave a lot of room for sunlight, so it is not as useful for weed prevention.

What is the difference between bagged and fresh mulch?

The decision to buy bagged or fresh mulch depends on price and convenience factors. In general, fresh mulch will cost less. Depending on the brand, bagged mulch is often sold many months after it has been manufactured and bagged. While sitting in different conditions some bagged mulch might spoil and develop mold.

Are all mulch dyes created equally?

Make sure you purchase your mulch from a reliable source. If you use mulch with toxic dye, it can leach into the soil harming or even killing beneficial soil bacteria, insects, earthworms and sometimes the plants themselves.
